Charlton Athletic Community Trust (CACT) enjoyed an action-packed day on Saturday, April 5th, as the club marked the 2024-25 Upbeats Day.

The day began at Sparrows Lane, where 200 walkers gathered before they set off on the nine-mile Upbeats Walk fundraiser, which concluded at The Valley. Charlton legends Bob Bolder, Colin Walsh, John Humphrey, Kim Dixson, Scott Minto and Paul Mortimer all completed the walk alongside Upbeat Danny Mardell, family members of the Upbeats and Addicks fans.

After the walk, the Upbeats took to the pitch at The Valley, where two different teams of Charlton Upbeats players played two games against Lincoln City Foundation’s DS Active team. The Upbeats secured victories in both clashes against the Imps.

The Upbeats and Lincoln’s DS Active side then returned to the pitch during half-time of Saturday’s match and received a warm reception from both Addicks and Imps supporters during their lap of honour.
