Legends confirmed for Upbeats Walk

-

With less than two weeks to go until this year’s Upbeats Walk on Saturday, April 5th, Charlton Athletic Community Trust (CACT) are pleased to announce three Addicks legends who will be taking part.

Colin Walsh, Paul Mortimer and Bob Bolder are set to participate in the 10th anniversary of the nine-mile fundraiser, which starts at the club’s Sparrows Lane Training Ground and concludes at The Valley.

Additionally, Scott Minto is set to welcome participants to Sparrows Lane, who will each receive a commemorative 10-year anniversary Upbeats Walk t-shirt before beginning the walk.

The event is the annual fundraiser for the Charlton Upbeats programme, which provides children and adults with Down’s syndrome with regular football sessions, as well as a range of other opportunities such as trips, UK holidays and football tournaments. The Upbeats is the only CACT programme funded entirely by donations.

There are still places available to join Colin, Paul and Bob on the walk, and Addicks fans can sign up here to join the trio, or donate here to support the Upbeats.
