Charlton's U21s extended their unbeaten streak to nine games on the bounce with a 3-1 win against Swansea City at Sparrows Lane on Friday afternoon.

Kaheim Dixon and Ibrahim Fullah netted for the young Addicks, who came from behind to claim all three points.

The Swans came close to opening the score early on as a threatening pass was slipped across to Josh Pescatore. The winger struck an effort goalwards, forcing a vital, point-blank save from Tommy Reid.

Just shy of 20 minutes later and the visitors were in front through Glory Nzingo. Arthur Parker whipped in a well-placed cross from the right flank which was met by Nzingo at the back post who fired in on the volley.

Chris Lock’s side responded well to the setback, drawing level just 10 minutes later. Tayo Edun did well to win a battle in the middle of the park and thread an inch-perfect pass in behind for Jamaican international Dixon, who slotted home with a superb finish.

The turnaround was complete just moments after the interval as Fullah netted for the second time this week. Some clever thinking from Dixon saw Kai Enslin escape the offside trip, teeing up Fullah who was driving goalwards with pace. The in-form midfielder skipped past his man and converted with a clever finish to edge the Addicks ahead.

Fullah wrapped up the scoring with five minutes left of the 90 as he finished off a splendid move from the young Addicks. Substitute Manu Wales pulled a pass back across the box, which was cleverly left by Dixon, allowing Fullah to add his second and Charlton's third.

Up next for the U21s is a trip to Wheatsheaf Park on Tuesday, January 7th to face Brentford U21s (KO 1pm GMT).
