10-man Charlton U21s suffered a 2-0 defeat at Millwall in Professional Development League Two on Saturday afternoon.
The hosts took the lead on 29 minutes through Jack Howland, who forced his way through the Charlton defence and fired in from 10 yards.
The young Addicks were reduced to 10 men moments before the interval as Seydil Toure saw red following a foul on Henry Hearn on the edge of the 18-yard box. Kyle Smith sent the resulting free-kick beyond Tommy Reid to double the hosts' lead.
Up next for Chris Lock's side is a trip to the Wallace Binder Stadium to face Colchester United on Friday, November 1st (KO 7pm GMT).
