Charlton Women secured a memorable victory away to Sheffield United for the first time in five years!

The Blades presented a tough challenge for the Addicks, with a goalless first half that saw the hosts putting up strong resistance.

The half began with the away team showing confidence, but Sheffield United fought hard to keep Charlton at bay and dominated possession for long stretches.

Sheffield United continued to test Charlton's defence, but any chances they created were safely handled by goalkeeper Gray.

After halftime, Charlton came out with a structured plan to tackle the second half, making it increasingly difficult for Sheffield United to break through Charlton's defensive line.

In the 57th minute, Humphrey made a brilliant run down the left wing and delivered a perfect pass to Brazil, who found the bottom right corner of the goal.

Following the goal, Filis and Pearse both received yellow cards in quick succession for fouls committed in our own half.

Charlton made two substitutions in the 72nd minute, bringing on N'Dow and Muya to inject fresh energy into the team.

As the game progressed, Charlton had several chances, including a shot from Muya that went wide but rattled the back of the net, sending a shiver through the home fans who feared conceding another goal.

A tough game under the floodlights ended with three points for the Addicks.
