Charlton Athletic has been a cornerstone of my life for nearly 50 years. From my first time standing on the East Terrace, watching Charlton take on York City, to relocating to the Covered End, the club has been my enduring passion. I’ve followed the Addicks far and wide, visiting 90 of the 92 league grounds, always with a Bovril in hand and my trademark shorts - whatever the weather!
Like you, I’ve shared the highs, the lows, and the moments that make supporting Charlton so special. Over the years, I’ve proudly represented all fans during pivotal moments in the club’s history. I was proud to help bring the club back to The Valley - a victory for us all - and more recently, I stood with fellow supporters opposing ESI’s damaging ownership, working to protect the club we love.
As a member of the Fans' Forum, I’ve ensured all supporters’ voices are heard on key issues, always prioritising the greater good. I’ve worked to bridge the gap between the club and its fans, advocating for transparency and fan involvement. I was also privileged to highlight what makes Charlton so unique in a broadcast feature for CBS’s Football League coverage.
Now, I’m eager to continue this work on the Advisory Board. My focus will be on improving communication between the club and all supporters, enhancing matchday experiences, and ensuring that fans remain central to everything Charlton does. Together, we can honour our incredible heritage and build a stronger future for us!
Up the Addicks!
