I have been a loyal Charlton supporter from a young age, holding a season ticket year in and year out since 2005. This long-term commitment has allowed me to experience the highs and lows of supporting the club, which has shaped my deep understanding of the fanbase's values and concerns. I know what it means to stand by the club through thick and thin, and I believe this gives me a solid foundation to advocate for the needs and interests of our supporters on the Fan Advisory Board.
I am an active voice in the Charlton community through my role on the Charlton Live podcast. This platform has allowed me to engage with fans from all walks of life, offering insight into the club’s happenings, discussing issues that matter to the supporters, and amplifying fan opinions on a wide range of topics.
In my current role as a Fan Advocate, I have demonstrated my ability to listen to supporters, understand their concerns, and work towards meaningful solutions. I understand that the role is not just about representing the loudest voices but ensuring all fans, regardless of their background or how often they attend matches, are heard. I have always been committed to fostering a positive dialogue between fans and the club, and I aim to continue this in a more formal capacity through the Fan Advisory Board.
The relationship between a club and its supporters should be built on trust, communication, and mutual respect. If elected, I will work tirelessly to ensure that the fanbase is not only heard but that your feedback directly influences decision-making at the club, as I have done during my time as Fan Advocate, where I have successfully lobbied on ticket pricing, matchday experience, and the club’s broader strategy.
