On Sunday, we hosted our annual Junior Addicks Christmas Party at The Valley, welcoming more than 400 children and parents down to SE7, for a day of festive fun alongside both our men and women's first-team squads.
In addition to the Junior Addicks in attendance, children from our Schools Partnership Scheme also had the opportunity to purchase a place to come down and experience their first taste of Charlton Athletic!
"It has been fantastic," said Marketing, Fan Engagement and Matchday Production Manager James Bell. "We've had the players doing some signings along with various activities. These events are so important, as EFL Community Club of the Year, these events are what make that the case. The fans have been fantastic so it is important that we show our appreciation to the supporters."
Men's first-team captain Greg Docherty spoke on behalf of the players, "Everyone has really enjoyed it from the smiles, handshakes and high-fives I have seen. Christmas is coming very soon, today was special for them and hopefully they have had a great time playing games and winning prizes."
Kiera Skeels, Women's first-team skipper added, "Charlton has an amazing community. It's all about getting people involved, a great way to finish of the year and give everyone a merry Christmas."
