Alfie May has won the Sky Bet League One Golden Boot award for the 2023/24 season.
The striker has enjoyed a sensational debut season with the Addicks, scoring 23 league goals.
May has now passed the 20-goal mark in Sky Bet League One for three successive seasons, having also achieved the feat with previous club Cheltenham Town.
He was named Sky Bet League One Player of the Month for October after scoring seven goals in six matches in the month and was also named in the EFL Team of the Season for League One.
“It’s been a great season for me personally," said May. "Winning the Golden Boot is something I’ve dreamt of doing and over the last couple of seasons I’ve been in and around it and been close. Coming from non-League to now being the top scorer in League One is something that will live with me forever and it’s a great achievement for me and my family.”
