The striker opened his account for the season in fine fashion, slowing everything down as the ball came to him and calmly controlling it before curling home with power and impeccable placement.
Aneke, who has already won the club's September Chicken George Goal of the Month accolade, is up against Mansfield Town's Lee Gregory (2nd goal vs Cambridge United), Exeter City's Ed Francis (vs Blackpool) and Blackpool's Rob Apter (vs Burton Albion).
