Charlton Athletic are delighted to announce that Angela Addison has signed a new one-year deal, committing her future to the club until the summer of 2024.
The 23-year-old was Karen Hills' first signing of last year's summer transfer window, making the move from Women's Super League outfit Tottenham Hotspur.
Addison spent four years with the north London side, where she first worked under Hills.
The Essex-born forward also enjoyed international football during her spell with the Addicks last season, receiving a call-up to the England U23s squad alongside teammates Kiera Skeels and Mia Ross.
She started England’s goalless draw against Spain in February 2023 and she netted the second goal in England’s 4-1 triumph over Belgium later that month.
Addison expressed her excitement upon penning a new deal with the club. She said: "I'm happy to be at Charlton for another season. Last season we finished in a good position, but I’m looking forward to seeing what we can do for the upcoming season. I like the direction the club is going in and I’m happy to be a part of it for another season."
