The club are looking to add at least one supporter to work with Charlton’s Fan Adviser Lucy Bishop.
Lifelong Addick Lucy was appointed to the role of Fan Adviser in April 2021 and has since helped establish regular communication between the club’s ownership and supporters.
She explained: “I have been really pleased with the changes we have been able to make since I took up the role in April 2021. We have re-established the Fans’ Forum and introduced the International Fans’ Forum which provide important two-way dialogue between the club and us as a fanbase.”
Lucy has also interviewed Owner and CEO Thomas Sandgaard on two occasions, and played a key role in off field projects, including the club’s #HerGameToo partnership and Equality, Diversity and Inclusion work.
She added: “After a year in the role I said that it had been a bit of a whirlwind and that has just continued. It has been excellent seeing the changes, big and small, that have been implemented but I feel there is much more that can be done.
“This is why I feel the club’s fanbase will be best served by at least one more person joining me to work with the club, to ensure supporters’ views are represented and considered in decision making.”
Supporters who would like to be considered for the voluntary role should email a short description of why they would be a good candidate to fanadviser@cafc.co.uk by 5pm on August 11th, 2022.
