In collaboration with the Mind Charity, Charlton Athletic Community Trust (CACT) has launched a new health walk focusing on mindfulness.
Mindfulness is a technique where you make a special effort to notice what's happening in that moment, with your mind, body and your surroundings. Sometime's it's good to stop and take notice of what's happening around you. Doing this can help you to become more aware of how you are thinking and feeling.
Mindfulness helps you to become more self-aware; feel calmer, less stressed and more able to choose how you respond to thoughts and feelings; and cope with difficult and unhelpful thoughts and be kinder to yourself.
