Charlton Athletic Community Trust (CACT)’s Director of Sports, Health and Education, Alan Sanders, has received an Honorary Fellowship from the University of Greenwich.
Through the Faculty of Education and Health at the University of Greenwich, the fellowship will be affiliated to the Department of Education & Health.
Speaking of his achievement Alan, who joined CACT in 2013 from Albion in the Community said:
“I am incredibly honoured to be recognised in this way for my work in Sports Education and Health.”
Dr Linda Burke, Pro Vice Chancellor of the Faculty of Education and Health at the University of Greenwich said:
“We are delighted that Dr Alan Sanders has accepted an Honorary Fellowship with the Faculty of Education and Health at the University of Greenwich. “
“This consolidates the excellent partnership the Faculty has with Charlton Athletic Community Trust.”
“It also builds on the significant contribution that Alan has made to the Faculty including working with us on Placement Development, Research bids, PhD studentships and the development of an exciting Foundation Degree in Community Sport which will be delivered jointly between the University and Charlton Athletic Community Trust.”
