Charlton Athletic Community Trust (CACT) has established a pioneering enterprise programme for young people in South East London.
The Young Greenwich Innovation Academy is now accepting applications for budding entrepreneurs aged 16-19 years old looking to boost their skills and potentially win £1,000.
Young people can fill in the application form detailing their business idea here.
Successful applicants will be invited to a weeklong series of workshops from 31 July – 4 August, designed to help develop business ideas and plans.
At the end of the week, one winner will be selected from the group to receive £1,000 funding towards start-up costs and six months of support from a dedicated mentor.
CACT Director Marc Leckie said: “We are really proud to be pioneering such a unique and exciting opportunity.
"CACT is dedicated to supporting the communities we work in, so we are really looking forward to championing the next generation of young entrepreneurs.”
