Charlton Athletic are pleased to be shortlisted for the EFL Diversity Award as part of the upcoming 2024 EFL Awards.
In recognition of the club’s ongoing commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI), the Addicks are one of three clubs to be shortlisted for the accolade ahead of the EFL's annual awards ceremony which takes place at London’s Grosvenor House on Sunday, April 14th.
Charlton are up for the award alongside Huddersfield Town and Bolton Wanderers, with the winner set to be announced at Sunday’s event.
Meanwhile, the club are also in the running for the Community Club of the Season with Charlton Athletic Community Trust’s (CACT) exceptional work having already been recognised with the League One Community Club of the Season accolade.
CACT received the award at an event at the House of Commons last month and will now go up against the other divisional winners - West Bromwich Albion in the Sky Bet Championship and Swindon Town in Sky Bet League Two - to discover the overall award winner across the 72 EFL clubs.
