The club recently welcomed 50 students from Generator - the student Enterprise Centre at the University of Greenwich - to The Valley.
The group toured some of London's finest entrepreneurial and innovative organisations as part of their studies, with their first stop being SE7.
Led by Andrew Smith, the club's Head of Commercial Partnerships, the students toured The Valley and learned more about how the club makes money and operates as a business, whilst also gaining an insight into what goes on behind the scenes on matchday.
Following the tour, the students were joined by CEO Peter Storrie for an open Q&A, allowing the group to learn even more about the operational running of the club and how it introduces innovative technology and practices to keep up with current trends.
"It was inspiring to see the strategies Charlton use to run a successful and sustainable sports organisation," said one student.
"I personally don’t know much about football clubs and and I didn’t realise quite how much went into maintaining one," added another.
