It was a comfortable win for the Addicks as they progressed to the fourth round of the Adobe Women's FA Cup, securing a 4-0 victory against Lewes at The Valley.
Charlton returned to winning ways in tremendous style, with four goals scored by three different players.
They started the game confidently, allowing Lewes little time on the ball in the first half. Dominating possession, Charlton mounted relentless attacks on the Lewes goal.
The breakthrough came in the 14th minute when Ellie Brazil converted a cross from Jodie Hutton, calmly tapping the ball into the back of the net.
The second goal followed in the 27th minute, courtesy of a corner taken by Hutton. Her delivery found Brazil, whose shot struck the post, but Gracie Pearse reacted quickly to slot home the rebound—her first goal for Charlton.
The Addicks continued their dominance and extended their lead in the 36th minute as Brazil beat the keeper with another composed finish, securing her second goal of the game.
At the start of the second half, Gloria Siber replaced N'Dow, and Charlton remained in complete control. They continued to create chances through Bradley, Hutton, and Siber.
Ademiluyi and Barton were substitution in the 62nd minute, and just ten minutes later, Barton unleashed a stunning strike into the top corner to make it 4-0.
Hills made two final substitutions, handing Olivia Mitchell Ramon and 16-year-old Janis Chime their first-team debuts.
A comprehensive victory for the Addicks!
