Alfie Doughty joined Academy Director Steve Avory at The Valley for Tuesday's 2-1 victory against Cheltenham Town.
The academy graduate, who made 41 appearances for the Addicks' first team, reflected on his journey from Charlton's youth system to the Premier League with Avory.
The 23-year-old has made 13 top-flight appearances for Luton Town to date this season and started the Hatters' 2-1 win against Crystal Palace at Kenilworth Road on Saturday - their first home win of the season.
