Jayden Stockley will serve the final game of his three-match suspension on Wednesday.

Terell Thomas (ankle) and Miles Leaburn (ankle) are both progressing well, while Joe Wollacott (finger), Mandela Egbo (quad), Conor McGrandles (ankle) and Eoghan O’Connell (knee) remain sidelined.

Meanwhile, Lucas Ness is cup tied for the Addicks having started both of Torquay United's ties against Derby County in the first round.

Liverpool loanee Vitezslav Jaros is still unavailable for the hosts, who could also be without experienced duo Chris Hussey and Antoni Sarcevic.

Stockport come into Wednesday's tie buoyed by a convincing 5-0 win at Hartlepool United last weekend.

That result leaves Dave Challinor's side sat 12th in Sky Bet League Two, just five points adrift of the coveted play-off places.

Charlton and Stockport have squared off on nine previous occasions with the Addicks winning six, the Hatters two and the remaining contest resulting in a draw.

The original tie came in SE7 just 11 days ago and produced the first ever draw between the two teams. A Ben Hinchliffe own goal and a delicate lob from Albie Morgan cancelled out Chris Hussey's third-minute opener and gave the Addicks a 2-1 lead, only for substitute Hippolyte to nod home Macauley Southam-Hales' corner with seconds remaining to keep the Hatters' FA Cup journey alive.

Scott Oldham will be the man in charge on Wednesday. The official last refereed a Charlton fixture in November 2021 – a 1-1 draw with Rotherham United at The Valley.

Oldham will be assisted by Bradley Hall and Daniel Woodward, while Ollie Yates is the Fourth Official.

The Addicks will be wearing their red home kit in Greater Manchester.
