Charlton Athletic are delighted to announce that Freda Ayisi has extended her stay with the club, signing a one-year contract.
The skilful midfielder's new deal comes following a successful campaign for the Addicks, regisering four assists and two goals in the league.
The 28-year-old joined Karen Hills' squad last summer after an impressive spell with Lewes the season prior.
Ayisi has domestic silverware to her name having won the FA Cup with Arsenal during the 2013/14 campaign. Along with her domestic success, Ayisi has also scored a Champions League goal for the Gunners against Kairat in her debut season in senior football.
The midfielder expressed her delight at extending her stay. She said: "I’m delighted to sign for another year! I’ve been working really hard in the break, so hopefully I can build from last season, and express myself on the pitch."
