This season the team have adopted a themed matchday calendar for the 2022/23 season.
The theming of matchday's allows the club to engage with supporters of all ages through a variety of off-pitch activities and also promote a number of good causes that are led by the club and its award-winning Community Trust.
The next themed matchday at The Oakwood will be alongside the University of Greenwich for our game vs Bristol City on Sunday, October 30th (2pm). More information on the day's theme will be released in due course and you can get your tickets for the game by clicking here.
Earlier in the month Charlton Athletic’s Corey Blackett-Taylor and Charlton Athletic Women players Melissa Johnson and Sian Rogers joined a YourStance training session on emergency trauma with nine young people to learn how to respond in certain situations.
Last season the team hosted members Proud Valiants to chat to the players about the importance of the Football v Homophobia themed matchday.
The squad will also take part in the Red, White and Black themed matchday again this season.
