The Addicks' U21s took on a Chelsea side including N'Golo Kante in a behind-closed-doors friendly on Friday afternoon.
The 31-year-old midfielder, a Premier League, Champions League and World Cup winner, completed 60 minutes as goals from Dion Rankine, Silko Thomas and Malik Mothersille earned the Blues a 3-0 victory at their Cobham Training Centre.
U21 boss Danny Senda said: “It was a very good experience for our boys, especially in the middle of the pitch where Harvey Kedwell, Matt Dench and Jason Adigun got to play against someone of the pedigree of N’Golo Kante.
"At times we competed and at times you saw the level and quality that we want to get to. There were a lot of positives for us to take and it was a good experience for the players.”
