Matty Godden reflected on a positive winter period for the Addicks that has taken them to within three points of the coveted play-off places.
The in-form forward took his seasonal goal tally to 13 with his 54th-minute strike against Peterborough United last time out at The Valley.
Speaking to BBC Radio London, Godden said: "The run we've been on since the middle of December has been unbelievable. We've had two defeats [in 14 league games], but there are a lot of wins in there.
"The place is feeling really upbeat and it's still upbeat even after a loss at the weekend. We need to get our feet back on the gas and get going again on Saturday into another busy period.
"It’s always a good thing to put smiles on fans' faces," he added. "We've started to see the change really now and the fans are starting to believe as much as we are that we can achieve something this season, and that's so important."
