Take part in the club’s Greener Game activities

Charlton have joined forces with club partners and supporters to encourage players, staff and fans to make more environmentally-friendly decisions.

The Addicks finished sixth in the EFL for the club’s work on environmental sustainability last season and, working with front of shirt partners RSK, are focused on continuing to reduce the club’s carbon footprint.

Activity on the matchday includes:

More than 70 supporters taking part in Charlton Athletic Community Trust’s walk which starts at Eltham and finishes at The Valley
An organised walk to the game from North Greenwich underground station that has been coordinated by Charlton Athletic Supporters’ Trust. Click here to join the walk.
The men’s first-team arriving to the game together in a hybrid coach provided by club partner University of Greenwich
A special menu in hospitality lounges with options incorporating locally-sourced products
A Greener Game-themed fan zone in the West Stand car park where supporters can find out more about making environmentally-friendly decisions

Fans are encouraged to make changes in their own lives to protect the future of the planet and can help Charlton climb the Pledgeball league table and be in with a chance to win prizes by pledging here.

Enjoy a Christmas market at The Valley

Supporters can enjoy a Christmas market in SE7 on Saturday, with gourmet hot chocolate, barista-style coffee, mince pies and mulled wine all on offer as part of a special Greener Game-themed fan zone.

The fan zone can be found in the West Stand car park outside the stadium.

Head over to the Meantime Fans’ Bar

The Meantime Fans’ Bar will be opening its doors to supporters from 12pm and will serve a range of food and drink options in the build up to kick-off.

You can enjoy a variety of food and drink options in the Meantime Fans’ bar, including the following:

Prime beef quarter pounder with cheese and french fries
Upbeats bhaji burger with french fries (VE)
Steak and ale pie/chicken and mushroom pie
Piglet’s pork sausage roll and Piglet’s rainbow vegan roll (VE)

The screens in the Meantime Fans' Bar will be showing Saturday's early kick-off between Crystal Palace and Liverpool and the late kick-off which sees Arsenal visit Aston Villa.

To help with the speed of service, supporters can order from their phones or devices directly to their tables using QR codes positioned around the Meantime Fans' Bar.

Supporters can win free beer in the Meantime Fans’ Bar on Saturday thanks to club partners Wearebrandnew - Sustainable Marketing Agency.

Visit the Family Activity Zone

Young Addicks can enjoy plenty of fun in The Valley's Family Activity Zone (FAZ) which will be open from 12.15pm until 2.15pm ahead of Saturday's fixture.

Join the fun inside Valley Central’s FAZ and enjoy games of table tennis, table football, pool or represent Charlton on FIFA! Younger Addicks can show off their colouring skills or draft a letter to their favourite Charlton men’s or women’s player in our letters to players box!

Outdoors, weather-permitting, you can jump into our popular two-v-two panna cage and take a shot at our inflatable target shooter and target donut games. What's more, you can also put your football skills to the test against fellow young fans with high scorers winning a special prize!

Get your 2023/24 Charlton wear from the club shop

All three of the club's 2023/24 kits can be purchased in-store and online, as well as training and travel wear.

Fans can also shop the Charlton Christmas collection in the Valley Superstore, which will be open until kick-off (3pm) and will then open for an additional 30 minutes after the full-time whistle.

Popular mascots Floyd and Harvey can always be found in and around the ground in the build up to kick-off.
