Hannah Godfrey signs one-year extension with Charlton

Hannah Godfrey pens a new deal with the Addicks

The club are delighted to announce that Hannah Godfrey has penned a new one-year deal with Charlton, keeping her at the club until 2023.

Godfrey signed for the Addicks in the summer of 2021, following her departure from Women’s Super League outfit Tottenham Hotspur.

The 24-year-old has been capped at international level by Scotland on four occasions, scoring on her debut in a 5-0 victory over Albania.

Godfrey shared her delight in staying in south London and looking toward the season ahead: “I'm really happy and very excited for a big year ahead with the club. I think we can use last year to push on both individually and as a team.

“Every game I am looking to go out there and give it my absolute best. My main goal is obviously to keep the clean sheets is something I take a lot of pride in. I will go out there, give it everything I can and hopefully help the team win.”
