Global Football Partners purchased the Addicks on Friday and Manager Dean Holden explained he is excited about the prospect of the new ownership.
Holden arrived at the Addicks in December alongside Jim Rodwell, Ed Warrick and Andy Scott, who then left the club in February. Following Friday’s takeover, Rodwell has been appointed as the club’s new Managing Director and Warrick as Group Finance Director.
Speaking to CharltonTV after the Addicks 5-0 victory at Wealdstone, Holden said: “It’s total clarity now and of course more excitement now than anything. There have been some really good conversations had this week with the guys that are joining.
“It’s just an exciting time for everybody now. I’ve got a previous relationship with the guys coming in, so I can’t wait to get back working with them again.”
