Michael Appleton has revealed Harry Isted has suffered a potential setback in his recovery from a knee injury.
The goalkeeper has been sidelined since the end of September after sustaining the problem in the Addicks’ goalless draw at Shrewsbury Town.
“Harry [Isted] has had a little bit of a setback with the knee situation,” revealed Michael Appleton. “I think it’s one of them where we’ll know more the extent of how bad of a setback it is in the coming days. He’s with the specialist today [Thursday] so we should know either over the weekend or Monday what the situation is."
Asked if any of the Addicks’ other absentees are nearing a return, the Head Coach said: “No, not really. You’re obviously looking at Terry [Taylor], Chuks [Aneke], and Pan [Camará] and you’re talking around new year or potentially just before the new year.”
