Charlton Athletic are thrilled to announce the signing of Jodie Hutton from Sheffield United.
The 23-year-old has joined the club on a one-year deal, becoming Hills' fourth new signing of the transfer window.
Hutton shared her excitement about the move: "I’m buzzing to get started. The club is heading in a great direction and has ambition. They have finished so high in the league the last few seasons."
Hutton continued to talk about her new manager: "The style of play that Karen wants to play is aggressive and front footed which is exciting. I can’t wait to be a part of a team that has potential to win the league this season."
Hutton began her career in the Aston Villa academy. She then played for the senior side from 2017-22, including the season they were promoted to the WSL. The defender then moved to Bristol City, becoming a part of another promotion winning side in the 2022/23 season before moving to Sheffield United last summer.
