Join Charlton’s Her Game Too working group and help promote equality and inclusion across the club.
The campaign, which the Addicks partnered with in 2022, was created by female football fans to highlight sexism in the game.
The club’s working group meet every couple of months and, since their formation, the club now provides free sanitary products for supporters at The Valley, has introduced an increased variety of drinks on matchdays and has promoted the Her Game Too campaign with visuals around the stadium.
Last year Charlton also introduced Her Game Too themed matchdays for the men’s and women’s first-teams. This season’s themed matchday for the men’s first-team will be on Saturday, March 15th when Wigan Athletic visit The Valley.
Charlton’s Her Game Too Ambassador Jade Hannan said: “It’s so important to make sure that women and girls are able to go to football and feel safe.
“We want people that are passionate about the club and about promoting change. It’s important to have a variety of backgrounds as well, be that ethnicity, age or whatever. That helps with implementing ideas, because everybody’s got different views and experiences as well.”
Fans interested in joining the working group should email fans@cafc.co.uk.
