Jones previews Blackpool trip

Nathan Jones is expecting a tough test for his side when they face Blackpool on Saturday.

The Addicks travel to Bloomfield Road in fantastic form having won their last three fixtures.

"As we saw in the reverse game, Blackpool will pose a really tough test," Jones explained. "Steve Bruce is fantastically experienced and a really good guy, a friend of mine. He's done a fantastic job.

"Their front four are really dangerous and we need to be the best version of ourselves. We go there in good form, with threats and a desire to win a football game. Whatever team I have taken to Blackpool, it's always been tough. It's never an easy game and Saturday will be no different to that.

"The fans won't want retribution half as much as me, believe me on that," he added. "Hopefully if the weather is good, they can have a ride on the old Pepsi and we can have a good weekend."

The gaffer confirmed that Gassan Ahadme is available again after missing the Addicks' last three outings with a foot injury.

"Gassan is back. Ironically Tyreece Campbell injured him in the warm-up. To be fair to him, Gass can find contact in a phone box! He's now back in full training and available for the weekend."

Asked for an update on the transfer front, Jones said: "I do genuinely believe that we'll have one, possibly two, in by the end of the window. The ones that we bring in, we have to see an elevation in the group from them."
