Jones: 'We've got a lot to play for'

Nathan Jones is anticipating another tough test when his side travel to Cambridge United this weekend.

"They’ve got a lot to play for and we’ve got a lot to play for," he explained. "It’s a difficult place to go - coming up against Neil Harris’ sides are always difficult.

"We’re going to have to do all of the basics really, really well and then be the best version of ourselves to get anything from the game."

Jones' men will be backed by yet another sold-out away end on Saturday.

"I hope we give them a real good thing to get behind this week," he said. "We let ourselves down at Peterborough with the goals that we conceded, and we don’t want to go through that again."

Asked for an update on the fitness of Tyreece Campbell and Lloyd Jones, the gaffer said: "Tyreece had calf tightness so we didn’t take any chances with that. With an extra week, he’s a lot closer to the squad.

"Lloyd's exactly the same. We haven’t rushed these because they're two of our best players. It’s not that stage of the season yet, but we want to get all our best players back."
