Kaheim Dixon scored four goals in 25 minutes as Charlton's U21s progressed to the fourth round of the London Senior Cup with an comprehensuve 9-2 win at Wingate & Finchley.
Speaking post-match, the Jamiacan international said: "To be honest, it wasn’t my best performance - I still have a lot of room to improve and I will look to fix that in training.”
With a variety of goals to choose from, including a bicycle kick for his brace, Dixon stated that his third was his pick of the four.
“If I had to pick one out of them it would be the third! A through ball was played to me from the midfield, I’ve kicked it over the keeper and rolled it into an empty goal.”
It was an outstanding performance from Chris Lock's as they tasted triumph against a senior side.
“I loved it out there tonight,” added Dixon. “The boys gave it their all, it was a professional performance and that's all that matters.”
Elsewhere on Tuesday night, the men's first-team returned to winning ways with a 1-0 triumph at the Pirelli Stadium against Burton Albion. Dixon shared his delight upon hearing the result, admitting that he is relishing the opportunity to get back out there under Nathan Jones.
“I’m really excited. I’ll be waiting for my opportunity and when that time comes, I will take it."
