Charlton Athletic are excited to announce that Karin Muya has signed a new contract, extending her stay with the club until 2025.
The forward joined the Addicks last season, making 17 appearances and scoring three goals.
Muya shared her excitement for the new season: "It feels great and a sigh of relief. I feel excited to get going with pre season and to start working." Muya said, "Last season we were so close, so this season it feels like we can learn some lessons and push on that step further."
Speaking on playing at The Valley, Karin added, "Having The Valley as our home stadium will be great for us, the playing surface is next to nothing. It will definitely be good for us and our style of football."
Looking at the season ahead, Muya commented on the level of skill in the Championship, "Every season the Championship continues to get more and more competitive, especially with the two new teams coming up, the strength and paces of games will only get better."
