Miles Leaburn has been named the Sky Bet League One Player of the Month for December.
The 21-year-old academy graduate scored four goals - including the club's Chicken George Goal of the Month - and registered two assists during December as the Addicks concluded the calendar year with three consecutive victories.
After collecting his award at Sparrows Lane, Leaburn said: “After a long time out injured it’s obviously nice to win this and I’d like to thank my teammates, my manager and the fans for encouraging and motivating me. It’s been a long journey to get back fit and I just hope I can continue my good form.”
Manager Nathan Jones added: “We’re really pleased for Miles to be picking up the Player of the Month award as a reward for his work not just recently, but in the last year. He has worked hard and with a real focus to get back to the level he’s been at in recent games. He’s a striker with excellent technical and physical attributes, who has a real desire to continue to improve, and it's great to see him scoring and creating goals and impacting games.”
