Lucas Ness has completed a permanent move to Sky Bet League Two side Notts County for an undisclosed fee.
A sell-on clause has been included as part of the deal with the Magpies.
The defender, who joined the Addicks from Metropolitan Police in the summer of 2020, made his Charlton debut during the 2020/21 season and went on to make 44 appearances for the club across all competitions, including 21 in each of the last two seasons.
Ness enjoyed a prolonged spell in the first-team during the first months of 2023, when fans voted him as their Player of the Month for January and February. He made 16 consecutive starts that campaign before sustaining a season-ending injury in March 2023.
Prior to that, the centre-back enjoyed non-League loan spells at Hampton & Richmond Borough and Torquay United while at the club.
Everyone at the club wishes Lucas the very best of luck for the future.
