Charlton Athletic can confirm that forward Lucy Watson, sustained an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) rupture during her loan spell with the club.
The 18-year-old has undergone a successful surgery, and has now returned to Chelsea Football Club to start rehabilitation with the club's medical team to continue her recovery.
