TEAM NEWS

Michael Appleton reported no fresh injury concerns in his press conference on Monday, though Harry Isted (knee), Terry Taylor (ankle), Panutche Camará (hamstring) and Chuks Aneke (hamstring) remain sidelined.

The visitors will be without Rob Street, who was sent off on Saturday for violent conduct, and Ben Williams is also unavailable for Cheltenham having now collected five yellow cards this season.

THE OPPOSITION

Despite sitting 22nd in Sky Bet League One, the Robins are one of the division's form sides having won three of their last five games, losing just once in that time.

Darrell Clarke's side travel to SE7 buoyed by an excellent 2-0 triumph at home to high-flying Oxford United last weekend.

HEAD-TO-HEAD

Charlton and Cheltenham have clashed on five previous occasions with the Robins winning three and the other two matches resulting in draws.

The last meeting between the two sides came at the Completely-Suzuki Stadium on the final day of the 2022/23 campaign. Scott Fraser gave the Addicks a first-half lead but Aidan Keena levelled for the hosts soon after the restart. Substitute Jack Payne then restored Charlton’s lead seven minutes from time, only for Alfie May to snatch a point for Cheltenham late on with his 20th league goal of the season.

MATCH OFFICIALS

Gavin Ward will be the man in the middle on Tuesday. The referee has taken control of 12 games to date this season, showing 45 yellow cards and zero red cards.

Ward will be assisted by Rob Smith and Adam Crysell, while Aji Ajibola is the Fourth Official.
