TEAM NEWS

Speaking in his pre-match press conference, Nathan Jones provided the latest on the fitness of Miles Leaburn (quad), Josh Edwards (groin) and Daniel Kanu (ankle).

The gaffer said: "It’s not a matter of days with Miles, it’s a week’s one. He won’t be available for the weekend, which gives someone else an opportunity.

"Well Josh is a lot closer than he was a week ago. He’s had some training and then we’ll assess and see how he is.

"Daniel just rolled his ankle so, again, we can’t rush it. We’ve just got to take our time and make sure that we handle him very well. Daniel won’t be out for as long as he was last time."

Chris Maxwell (hip), Tom Lees (knee), Nigel Lonwijk (hamstring), Radinio Balker (quad), Mickel Miller (knee), Tom Iorpenda (back), Herbie Kane (knee), David Kasumu (hamstring) and Josh Koroma (calf) have all been sidelined for the visitors of late, while Rhys Healey (knee) and Danny Ward (knee) are both out for the season.

THE OPPOSITION

Huddersfield currently occupy Sky Bet League One's final play-off spot ahead of Saturday’s meeting, with five points separating the sides.

The visitors recorded a 5-1 victory at home to Crawley Town last time out in what was Interim Head Coach Jon Worthington's first game at the helm following the departure of Michael Duff.

HEAD-TO-HEAD

Charlton and Huddersfield have locked horns on 93 previous occasions with the Addicks winning 37, the Terriers 37 and the remaining 19 encounters resulting in draws.

Huddersfield ran out 2-1 victors against the 10-man Addicks in the reverse fixture at the John Smith’s Stadium in November 2024.

Bourne will be assisted by Michael Webb and Ryan Whitake, while Stephen Parkinson is the Fourth Official.
