The Addicks fell to a 2-0 defeat at Burton Albion last weekend courtesy of goals from Mark Helm and John Brayford in each half.

Terry Taylor (ankle) and Conor McGrandles (calf) are both set to step up their returns to fitness by starting the U21s' Professional Development League 2 - South clash at Watford on Tuesday afternoon.
Michael Appleton confirmed that Panutche Camará (hamstring) and Chuks Aneke (hamstring) are both making positive progress with their respective recoveries, while Miles Leaburn (hamstring) is a long-term absentee. Michael Hector (hamstring) remains sidelined.

Charlton and Northampton have gone toe-to-toe on 35 previous occasions with the Addicks winning 13, the Cobblers nine and the remaining 13 meetings ending in draws.
The last meeting between the two sides came at The Valley in March 2021, when Conor Washington's brace earned Charlton a 2-1 victory.
Paul Howard will be the man in the middle on Tuesday. The referee has overseen 22 matches so far this season and has shown 83 yellow cards and two red cards.
Howard will be assisted by Kevin Howick and Marc Wilson, while Paul Lister-Flynn is the Fourth Official.
