TEAM NEWS
Nathan Jones provided an update on Gassan Ahadme in his pre-match press conference: "Gass, ironically, had Tyreece [Campbell] step on him during the warm-up away at Preston and then after the game his foot blew up, so that’s why he’s been out of the squad in the last two. He didn’t travel with us and has been having treatment.
"Tennai Watson and Kayne Ramsay are now back to full fitness and are back with the group," the boss added.
THE OPPOSITION
Shrewsbury Town sit 22nd in the Sky Bet League One's standings ahead of Saturday's clash, six points adrift of safety, albeit with a game in hand on 20th-placed Northampton Town.
Gareth Ainsworth's side come into the clash on the back of a 2-1 win at home to high-flying Wrexham last time out.
HEAD-TO-HEAD
Charlton and Shrewsbury have locked horns on 34 previous occasions, with the Addicks winning 11, Salop 11 and the remaining 11 clashes resulting in draws.
Ahadme was on the scoresheet in the reverse fixture in September 2024 as the Addicks claimed a 1-0 win in Shropshire.

Tallis will be assisted by Callum Gough and Marc Wilson, while Scott Simpson has been appointed as the Fourth Official.
