'

The Addicks return to The Valley on Saturday to take on Wigan Athletic in Sky Bet League One (KO 3pm GMT).

Nathan Jones’ side, who have won their last six fixtures on home soil, will look to record back-to-back victories having tasted triumph on the road against Crawley Town on Tuesday night.

TEAM NEWS

Ashley Maynard-Brewer (groin) remains sidelined for the Addicks, while the gaffer provided the following update on Josh Edwards after the defender was substituted in midweek: "We'll be monitoring that. It's just stiffness really, it's a fatigue one. It wasn't a mechanism so it's not a real bad pull or anything."

The visitors will be without Tyrese Francois (ankle), Matt Smith (hamstring), Dion Rankine (hamstring), Silko Thomas (knee) and Will Goodwin (quad).

THE OPPOSITION

Ryan Lowe was named as Shaun Maloney's successor on Wednesday evening, but given the short turnaround before Saturday's match, Glenn Whelan, Graham Barrow and Frankie Bunn will oversee the Latics on Saturday.

Wigan currently sit 15th in the Sky Bet League One standings and travel to the capital on the back of a 1-0 triumph at home to Cambridge United last weekend.

HEAD-TO-HEAD

Charlton and Wigan have locked horns on 19 previous occasions, with the Addicks claiming eight wins, the Latics seven and the remaining four encounters resulting in draws.

Lloyd Jones bagged the winner in the reverse fixture at The Brick Community Stadium on the opening day of the season.

MATCH OFFICIALS

Graham Scott will be the man in the middle this weekend.

Scott will be assisted by Rob Smith and Jonathan Hunt, while Andrew Humphries has been appointed as the Fourth Official.
