The Addicks are back in action at The Valley on Saturday when Wrexham visit the capital (KO 3pm BST).

Charlton will be looking to get back on the winning trail having recorded back-to-back draws against Stockport County and Barnsley following their 1-0 triumph over league leaders Birmingham City earlier this month.

TEAM NEWS 

Nathan Jones has confirmed that Gassan Ahadme (chest) has returned to training, though Kayne Ramsay (knee), Lloyd Jones (leg) and Daniel Kanu (ankle) remain sidelined.

The visitors will be without Max Cleworth (ankle), George Evans (ankle), Steven Fletcher (knee) and Jack Marriott (leg).

THE OPPOSITION

Wrexham currently sit second in the Sky Bet League One standings, four points behind table toppers Birmingham City who boast a game in hand.

Phil Parkinson’s side shared a goalless draw with Huddersfield Town at the Racecourse Ground in midweek, extending their unbeaten streak to four matches across all competitions.

HEAD-TO-HEAD

Charlton and Wrexham have locked horns on 15 previous occasions with the Addicks winning three, Wrexham seven and the remaining five encounters resulting in draws.

Saturday’s clash will be the first time the teams have clashed in over 40 years, with Charlton securing a 1-0 win in the last meeting back in February 1982.

MATCH OFFICIALS

Sam Purkiss is the man in the middle for Saturday’s fixture.

Purkiss will be assisted by Leigh Crowhurst and Paul Lister-Flynn occupying, while Alan Dale has been appointed as the Fourth Official.

The Valley’s Fan Zone will open its doors to supporters from the earlier time of 11.30am with a range of activities available for you to enjoy ahead of kick-off - including the Tussle pitch, Giant Connect Four, Jenga, Limbo and Meantime's Mobile Bar.

Bartram's and the Meantime Fans’ Bar will also be open from 11.30am, with supporters able to take advantage of £5 pints in both bars, as well as the Fan Zone, until 1pm.
