CHARLTON

The second half of the season began last week in the Championship and the Addicks took the long journey up to Durham in the freezing temperatures and secured three points! Maiden Castle is always a hard place to go but the Addicks put in a strong performance with goals from Kayleigh Barton and Atlanta Primus with the game ending 1-2. Charlton are now in sixth place and five points off league leader Birmingham.

THE OPPOSITION

Sheffield United had a positive start to 2025 by securing a point against Newcastle in the first game of the year from a goal by Charlotte Wardlaw. The blades are currently in 10th place in the league and three points off Portsmouth who are currently sitting in the relegation spot.

HEAD-TO-HEAD

When the two sides met in the first half of the year, the Addicks took home a narrow win from Bramall Lane after an Ellie Brazil goal being the only difference between the two sides. In the 2023/24 season both results ended in a draw between the sides.
