For the home side, Everton loanee, Tyler Onyango looks set to miss the game after returning to his parent club for a scan after picking up a thigh injury.
Jordan Moore-Taylor is a long term absentee, while skipper Baily Cargill is a doubt with a knee injury.
For Charlton, Sean Clare and Matt Penney face late fitness tests after being substituted in Saturday's game with injury. Miles Leaburn missed the fixture with a minor hip injury and it is likely Tuesday's game comes too soon for him.
The Addicks are waiting to hear if Ryan Inniss is suspended for the game. The centre-half was sent-off on Saturday but the club confirmed on Monday that the decision was being appealed.
Todd Kane (hamstring) and Mandela Egbo (quad) are still unavailable, while Michael Hector may be in contention after playing for the club's U21s last week.
Forest Green currently sit 24th in League One, 15 points behind the 12th-placed Addicks.
Duncan Ferguson was appointed as Rovers' new manager at the end of January.
Since his appointment, Ferguson's side faced stoppage-time heartbreak in a 2-1 loss to Shrewsbury Town, a tough 2-0 loss at home to Peterborough and conceded an 89th minute equaliser in a 1-1 draw with Morecambe.
Charlton and Forest Green have only faced off on two occasions.
The first meeting came at The Valley in August 2019 in the first round of the Carabao Cup, as the visitors won 5-3 on penalties following a goalless stalemate - with Addicks stopper Joe Wollacott the hero for Rovers that night on what was his professional debut.
The two teams shared the points in a 1-1 draw at The Valley in September. Corey Blackett-Taylor gave Charlton the lead that day before Connor Wickham's equaliser on the stroke of half time.
Chris Pollard will be carrying the whistle for Tuesday's game.
Pollard last refereed Charlton in August, when he looked after the club's opening home game of the 2022/23 season - a 1-0 win against Derby County.
He'll be assisted by Dean Treleaven and Alan Cresswell. Ollie Williams is the Fourth Official.
The Addicks will be sporting their white away kit for the trip to Forest Green.
Tickets for Tuesday’s clash will be available to purchase at New Lawn Stadium ahead of Tuesday's game.
Any remaining tickets will be available to purchase from Forest Green's Ticket Office on matchday.
