Karoy Anderson, Kaheim Dixon, Conor Coventry and Thierry Small all returned from the international break in the midweek.
Will Mannion, Kayne Ramsay, Tennai Watson, Lloyd Jones, Dan Potts, Tyreece Campbell, Chuks Aneke and Daniel Kanu all missed the Addicks last league game against Exeter City through injury. Speaking in his pre-match press conference on Thursday, Nathan Jones said: "We are in a better position than we were two weeks ago, before the Exeter game but there are still some big players out."
THE OPPOSITION
The Terriers currently sit eighth in the Sky Bet League One rankings having picked up seven wins, two draws and five losses so far this season.
Michael Duff’s side previously secured qualification for the Round of 32 in the Vertu Trophy with an impressive 4-1 win against Manchester United U21s.
