MATCH PREVIEW | Lewes v Charlton
Charlton will look to build on last Sunday's draw as Karen Hills’ side return to the Dripping Pan as they lock horns with Lewes this Sunday (KO 2 pm GMT).
The Addicks will travel to the Dripping Pan for the second time this month as they take on Lewes in the Barclays Women’s Championship. The previous meeting between the two sides resulted in a 2-0 victory for the hosts as Scott Booth’s side came out victorious in the Continental Cup.
Charlton will return to East Sussex off the back of a 2-2 draw against Blackburn at The Oakwood. Two second-half goals from Melissa Johnson and a third penalty converted this season for skipper Emily Simpkins saw the Addicks claim a point against the Rovers as they came back from two goals behind.
Victory this Sunday could see Charlton climb to the top of the table depending on results elsewhere, whereas the hosts currently sit in ninth place, six points behind the Addicks.
The Rooks will head into Sunday's proceeding's in search of their first win in the new capmaign , the hosts have recorded one vitory so far this season, that being their 2-0 triumph over the Addicks in the Continental Cup.
Scott Booth’s last outing saw them fall to defeat at the hands of Durham on Sunday, with two goals in the last twenty minutes from the north east side as Sarah Robson rifled her 97th-minute effort into the top corner to secure the three points for the hosts in the dying embers of the game.

Karen Hills’ side has had an impressive start to the 2022/23 campaign recording three wins from five and netting thirteen times.
