The London derby ends in disappointment for Charlton as a last-minute goal from London City Lionesses secures a 1-1 draw.

The first half was evenly contested, with a standout chance for Bissell, whose cross was deflected over the bar by the London City defense. Mel Filis came close in the 36th minute, but her shot drifted just wide.

The Addicks picked up a couple of yellow cards in the first half, with bookings for Hutton and Pearse.

Charlton came out strong after the break, with Charlotte Newsham forcing the keeper into a crucial save, tipping the ball over the bar. London City responded with a dangerous effort of their own, but Whitehouse was on hand to make an important block.

The breakthrough came in the 75th minute when Barton, introduced as a substitute, won a penalty. Bradley stepped up and took the shot expertly to give Charlton the lead.

After the goal, London City piled on the pressure, and in the dying moments, they were awarded a free kick. Aslani stepped up and found the net, denying Charlton all three points and ensuring the derby ended level.
