The Addicks end their pre-season with a 2-2 draw against WSL outfit Aston Villa in the beating sun.
The reds came out very strong, making an immediate impact with Brazil taking the ball off the opposition and slotting one home in the fifth minute of the game.
Villa continued to get stronger as the half went on putting a lot of pressure on Charlton defensively with two close chances from Robinson before Leon scored in the bottom corner.
The Addicks came out firing in the second half with Brazil capitalising on a Villa mistake in the first minute and passing the ball to Barton who put it in the back of the net.
The reds continued to play very strong, causing issues for the WSL side throughout the half.
Five substitutes were made who continued to keep the momentum for the side and battled well with the Birmingham team.
There were chances for both sides with Whitehouse dealing with any potential opportunities from the opposition.
In the final seconds of the game Villa’s Tomás managed to find the back of the net, making the final score 2-2.
