The FA have informed Charlton Athletic Women that Mia Ross will face a three-match suspension following an incident in the Addicks' 1-0 win against Sunderland last weekend.
The FA have provided the club with the following statement:
Mia Ross has been suspended from Charlton Athletic Women's next three matches following an incident at their Women's Championship game against Sunderland Women on Sunday, 21 April.
The midfielder's behaviour during the 87th minute wasn't seen by the match officials, but it was caught on camera, and she admitted subsequently that it constitutes violent conduct.
Mia Ross also submitted that the automatic three-match penalty for violent conduct is excessive, but this appeal was dismissed by an independent Regulatory Commission after a hearing.
